The 7-part structure for persuasive slides
Use this seven-part outline when a presentation needs to explain a problem, earn trust, and lead to a decision.
The seven parts
- Title and promise — state what the audience will gain.
- Problem — explain why the issue matters now.
- Insight — show the useful angle that is easy to miss.
- Solution — present the steps, recommendation, or product.
- Proof — support the claim with data, a demo, or a concrete example.
- Plan — make the timeline, responsibilities, and next actions explicit.
- Close — recap the decision and give one clear call to action.
Keep each slide focused
Give each section one to three slides and keep one main idea on each slide. Put supporting detail in speaker notes instead of shrinking the body text.
